Findhorn Nairn and Lossie Fisheries Trust

Funding from the BBCF contributed to a larger Scottish Landfill Communities Funded project to continue controlling invasive non-native plants along the banks of the Rivers Findhorn and Lossie. Over 30km of riverbank were treated by specially trained contractors and staff, enabling native vegetation to regenerate, increasing the biodiversity of the riverbanks and removing Giant hogweed which is toxic to humans.
